TMGP Endurance Race Round 4, 2024: Ground Pilots Team, Session 6, MJ and the Bad Footpeg

Hand off went well when Alex came in. I quickly discovered our improvised foot peg repair was not holding up so durably. I was using the foot peg bracket to hold my foot more than I was the peg.

As the session went on it was harder and harder to move my foot forward and shift without a peg under it. You'll hear how often I was in the rev limiter, missing shifts and/or the brake pedal.

Eventually I came in because a fix would help everyone else with the hour we still had left to race. Totally stoked the repair took only 5 minutes and made the bike rideable again. You can see that in this clip...
