How to add mod maps to BMX Streets. There are over 100!

Adding mod maps to BMX Streets is the best way to get the most out of the game, but it can be a bit confusing. The game itself allows mod maps but doesn't make it clear how to access them. Thank you this was so easy. Once you have the 'Maps' folder created do you still need to have the game launched and be at the maps screen to add new ones?
