Good to see Stevie Wonder still doing the odd paint job!

Terrible colour match; doors look different colour to bonnet and boot 🙄

I would love a TR6, but not that one.

Imports will have welding patches on the firewall from swapping left to right hand drive - most look like my cat did it 😂

Triumph 2500 TC had the same gear knob and overdrive on third and fourth.

I like this colour combination. Hot summer’s day, hood down, the burble from that straight 6.

those seats are from a USA TR6, and the fact that the car is on carbs would suggest an imported car (USA) ? a quick look at the engine block number would likely tell you more about its origin.

Seats are from a very early tr6, 69/70. The car needs painting and restoring

What about the awful paint match on the doors Derrick?

The original switch for the overdrive on a TR6 was a stalk on the steering column. This one has most likely been fitted with an overdrive at a later stage. The owner has opted for a Stag or Dolomite style switch on the top of gear shifter knob .
Absolutey nothing wrong with strombergs either. Millions of cars had them fitted, nothing unique to Triumphs. Simplest carb in the world. Usually the people not understanding them is the problem.

Door is a Re spray that doesn’t match - too dark !

points to terrible fitting door and says "wouldn't come out of the factory much better than that" as opposed to "the frame is rotten, that's why the doors sag"

Purchase at knock-down price. 1st job respray authentic colour (do not ask Stevie Wonder again). 2nd job replace hood for black. 3rd job replace wheels.
Second thoughts forget it 😂.
