"Kurasu" is derived from the Japanese word that means “to live” or “lifestyle.” What began as an online homeware venture has evolved into an internationally recognized leader in Japanese coffee brewing equipment.

Savor our specialty coffee at locations in Kyoto, Singapore, Bangkok, Jakarta, and Hong Kong. In 2021, we relocated our roastery cafe from Fushimi Inari to Nishijin, where we roast using a Loring S35 Kestrel.

Our mission is to introduce the world to Japanese coffee culture through coffee products, partnerships with roasters, and our signature roasts. Kurasu is more than a coffee shop—it’s a global ambassador for specialty coffee culture.

I love Fukuoka. I wish you had posted this a few months ago when I was there. I would have loved to try Filter Supply. It rained every day I was there though, so it limited the amount of wandering I usually do on holidays in Japan. Oh well, next time.

That's great! You enjoy your coffee, I'll enjoy my martini. Fair trade??? Good video though, thank you for this one!
oh. A big PS. I see a lot of coffee places now trying to describe coffee like wine. Please stop. I don't want fruity coffee, I want coffee that tastes like coffee! Good, strong, black, unadulterated coffee. A drink that will sit in my taste buds for three days, that will still remind me of the flavour hours after I've drunk that cup of heaven. Coffee that makes my head spin for an hour after I've drunk it. Now THAT's coffee! and yes, I make that kind of coffee at home. Segafredo Extra Strong, dark roast, medium coarse hand grind, French press. Steep for 10 minutes. Heaven in a cup!
Another PS... I find it interesting that Japanese don't seem to like crema on their coffee. Why do you thing that is???
