The END Of Tesla Stock?

Tesla stock is down around 8% after its much anticipated self driving robotaxi event, titled “We, Robot”. In today’s video, I’m going to explain the positives and negatives of the event, ultimately doing a full updated Tesla stock analysis. I’ll explain why Tesla is my largest individual stock position.

Elon’s at it again. Turns out, Optimus wasn’t doing anything on its own at the afterparty where it was shown off as a bartender and dancer—it was all remote-controlled by Tesla employees. That’s why the stock tanked today. People are realizing the whole thing was just another bit of staged hype and empty promises, which seems to happen whenever Elon feels like Tesla needs a boost.

It’s odd to me that while YouTube is overflowing with young investors making the case for Tesla, none of the investing heavyweights talk about it. Warren Buffett, Peter Lynch, Monish Pobrai, Michael Burry, Bill Ackman, etc - even the ones that like Elon and own Teslas don’t invest in the company, afaict. That’s *at least* a yellow flag, imo.

I think you’re forgetting that most people aren’t sure on self driving period yet. People have reservations about AI, robots and automation and regulations are likely to be very slow on approving these things widely. There’s also going to be push back as this is a big disruption and on top of that Elon is not very popular right now

In terms of the "miles driven" data, can anyone explain why or *if* the amount of data still matters after you've exceeded a billion miles? I mean what more value will another billion miles provide that the first billion did not?

Tesla gets by on speculation and hype alone. The value has long since left the building.
1. The cybertruck is an absolute failure of a vehicle that's been recalled twice so far. If I had the money to own one, I'd already be prepping a lawsuit for fraud as well.
2. Supervisor-less Self-driving has been five years away for going on 20 years now. It's not realistic to even take it serious anymore. We'll have to see it to believe it cause the promise has been broken so many times.
3. The CEO is a madman who's going to one day tank his businesses cause he's alienating so many potential customers in droves. Like Twitter.
Analyze all you want, the stock might as well be a slot machine in Vegas. Get a real leader in there to overhaul some stuff and it'll be worth considering, otherwise the event was nothing but fan service to Musk and the stock is radioactive. Stay away.

This robotaxi show is overly complicated. FSD doesn’t need another car model. Just mass produce model 3 and it will be cheaper. Use unsold inventories as robo taxi by just turning on FSD. The show could be masking and or buying more time for FSD development bc it’s not ready. This is an unfinished product and a dream business model. Tesla investor is very kind to Tesla. I’m buying the dip and following the herds.
