Brig Devinder Singh was The Leader, and with all the inputs I have professionally from top officers of the time, he fought and led from the front, caught the first Pak POWs, but for strange reasons, the Corps commander Lt Gen Krishan Pal spoilt his promotion process, on some ego issue, and tried to give the credit of the victory in his sector to another officer who was only visiting the area. Very unfortunate and unprofessional of the top commander.

Major General is Really down to earth Good person is very polite and even though he out ranks the Brigadier, he keeps addressing him as Sir. Giving respect to every person tells highly about ones pedigree and upbringing to Major Generals parents and teachers for molding him into what he became to Maj General Yash, he should be a role model for next generation on how to be Humble & down to earth even when you dont have to SALUTE
