Saw this randomly on a cruise once. This sport is called flugtag. They do it worldwide and not only are the wins entertaining, but the flops are hilarious and the creativity of the designs are half the fun. There was a “Flying Colonel Sanders” build that was absolutely hilarious

These events exist already in the 70's on the Dutch television and was called "ter land, ter zee en in de lucht". It was really fun to see what the people did made to succeed the goal
