Hi, I'm Sara. Along with my husband, Matt and our 4 kids, 2 dogs, A LOT of bees and 50ish chickens we have been developing our homesteading lifestyle. After over a decade on our property we are finally debt free and using our new FREEDOM to do what we have always wanted to do (be self reliant)!

Pesto (Change ingredients to taste)
2 cups Greens (My favs are basil, cilantro and carrot tops)
1/2 cup Nuts (Traditionally Pine NUts are used but I like walnuts)
1/2 cup Shredded Parmesan (Nutritional Yeast can be used in its place)
1/2 cup Olive Oil
1/4 cup Lemon Juice
2 Tbs. chopped Garlic
Pinch of Salt
Pinch of Pepper
Process in food process and serve.
