Cloud Based POS System : Gotta Have It : POS Nation Case Study

Gotta Have It in Charlotte, North Carolina, offers its customers a full selection of goods, from sports memorabilia to man cave necessities. Needing a system to help manage his business from home or on the road, Peter turned to POS Nation's cloud based POS solution.

My name is Peter Narita and I'm the chief operating officer of Gotta Have It here in Charlotte, North Carolina. Well, I've been in the retail business for almost 30 years now and I had several stores up north. The products and goods that we sell at Gotta Have It, there's a range, mostly a lot of licensed sports products. Well, I've had POS systems before in our other stores and I know how important it is. So when we got back into retail here in Charlotte I immediately started looking for a POS system. I spoke to plenty of different companies and it just so happened that POS Nation just really fit the bill for everything that I needed. This is actually my first cloud-based POS system, which I happen to love because I mean I could work from home if it's two o'clock in the morning, or I could work from my phone, I could update — overall, it's great. At first I was a little hesitant about the cloud-based system, but yeah, I mean you'd be crazy not to want to use it. Well the cloud-based system really helps us because we could track inventory, track customers, and again, it could be done remotely. For me, personally, those are the biggest advantages of the whole system in general. Well, the installation and training was flawless, seamless — you guys came in and got it up and running and again with the training, it was just it was a breeze. You know, really helped me and the staff learn the system and what I liked about it is we learned on the fly so any other questions we had we would call in and you know we'd get the proper assistance I would recommend POS Nation for many many reasons. The ease of its use, the set up of it, you know, just the way it's set up, the way it's geared to my business, and I'm sure it will apply to any other retail business. And I think as far as cost goes I think they're very very reasonable. I've done my homework and I'm certainly very happy.
