Super random question, but was there ever a prototype Lloyd for this set? Yesterday i thrifted this exact lloyd figure and he has the most bizarre hip joint ive even seen on a minifigure. I cant find any information and was wondering if you knew anything?

If I can remember when I was 6 I had this set I still do to this day but it’s in my Lego bin shattered in to pieces
