Well done 👏 I'm so pleased for you, getting sober is really hard, especially if it's alcohol because heavy drinking is so ingrained in our culture in the UK. You look much happier ☺️. I'm in recovery myself, I got clean from heroin, cocaïne and alcohol. I started boozing heavily months after I turned 18, I got into taking valium after a few years. I ended up getting into heroin through a guy I was buying pills from. I was heavily addicted to heroin for years, and I started taking cocaïne on top of it. I managed to finally quit because I was told by my doctor that my health at 28 was so bad that I was dying, I started to show signs of heart and liver problems. My skin and eyes began to yellow, my face and legs began to swell up, I started taking seizure like episodes, and I weighed less than 8 stone at 6ft. My mum told me she was sure that she'd receive a call to say I had died. I got myself into all sorts of trouble. That was over 3 years ago. I no longer use any of those substances. I'm so pleased for you, you've done yourself a massive favour, even drinking can quickly get really out of control, it happens tragically often. I feel as if drinking alcohol was a gateway drug for me. Keep up the amazing work, love your videos 😃
