In the long and storied history of post season Major League Baseball, this was the first time a team entered its last at bat trailing by three or more runs and came back to win. The second happened the next day, the third was three days after that. Incredible.

I was at this game! I’ll never forget the celebration on the streets after the game was over. We totally thought we were going to the World Series! Then the next 3 games happened and that was so depressing. Thank god for 2002, because it made the depression of this series go away.

Aside from 2002 this was the best team the Angels ever had, this team had it all and should of advanced to the World Series in 86 but…

The Iowa-Indiana game at the end of the tape was an unexpected gem. There were some studs in that game.

I'd forgotten how good all of the Anaheim games in this series were.

This was a truly great playoff game only to be followed by what I consider to be the greatest game in baseball history in Game 5.

2:41:47 And it happened twice...in back to back games!! 2:32:04 The 'forgotten comeback' from 1986.

When they cut to Calvin Schiraldi’s distraught wife after he hits Downing to force in the tying run, I can’t help but think, sweetie, if you think this is bad, wait til you see what happens next in the World Series.

Remember when playoff games interrupted regular scheduled programming? Nowadays most playoff games are on sports channels so no programming is interrupted plus all shows today can be recorded and watched later or the next day

What a great end to his career this could have been for Tom Seaver if he would’ve been healthy. Especially pitching against the Mets in the World Series.

And Reggies coming up to so or hit a ground out. Should have had Ruppert Jones as DH for this series. Reggie was washed up after '82.
