I mean the fact that I walk into my high school in Houston, TX and see a Jew, Palestinian, Nigerian, Pakistani, Indian, Korean, Japanese, Venezuelan, and German all in the same room with no intention to kill each other and don’t see each other as different people is pretty awesome. The other I (a Colombian) walked into a whataburger where a black man took my order alongside a white police officer and an Asian Cowboy ( with a Texan accent )

Was expecting a thread of U.S. bashing and I've gotten used to it so much that I even sometimes hate my country. I was pleasantly surprised to hear the positives and was reminded we live in a pretty swell country.
