For all of you saying washer, you just be scribing multiple times. On top of that a washer doesn’t have a point like a compass. If you done enough scrubbing you’ll know

This one's a straight line, measure the top and bottom and draw the line between them. scribing is more important if there are jigs and jags in the middle. i'd rip it with a skilsaw not jigsaw

Washer instead. Way more accurate and faster

Not a good tutorial. You did mention setting the piece plum before scribing and you didn’t back cut the scribe line. Then, your fit wasn’t tight. 🙄🙄🙄🙄
