The actor who plays the vicar is amazing- the continuous optimism hiding a withstrain contemptuous demeanour. Amazing casting. This show is a gem.

Probably one of the best actors I have EVER seen in any British comedy. They are all absolutely excellent but Paul (the Vicar) is just incredible. Nuanced and subtle yet impactful and vivacious. A joy to watch. One of the best British comedies of all time.
