Earth being destroyed doesn't ever feel as bad as it did in the Buu Saga. There will be now endless reasons why it can be restored. Earth being destroyed in GT seemed decent, as we had to see everyone's journey from Earth to the new planet. You can feel how it weighed on certain folks. Before Piccolo randomly gave his life for unjust reasons, when he could easily have left Earth. Then after everyone left Earth, it was restored back in 5 minutes via Namek Dragonballs. Always waters it down in the end. I know that Earth will never truly be destroyed. An Arc that grants total destruction to Earth, without a return, would be too heavy for DragonBall and too much of a shift to just force Earth's inhabitants to live on an alien planet forever. It'll never happen. Just as when main cast members die now, we don't tend to care. Though, even in GT, you could be forgiven for forgetting Krillin was dead for a full arc arc and a half of the Super 17 one. Piccolo dieing in Super barely meant anything either. Easy to forget he's gone.

Dragon Ball is still pretty decent but consequences don't quite exist now. No death will be permanent. Everything will always resort back to a happier end for the main cast.

No matter how many times Earth gets destroyed our Z Fighters will Stand Against all the Threats and Save the Earth that's the Dragon Ball Way

If I remember correctly, in Z Buu had already killed everyone, while in GT, when the time limit was almost up, the heroes raced all across the world to transmission everyone off the planet, while Piccolo stayed behind to die so that the Black-Star Dragon Balls would be destroyed. Meaning that Resurrection F was the only time that everyone on Earth died at the same time that the planet blew up.

Canonically for the main timeline, just one time. Or two, technically speaking.

Freiza tries to destroy earth
Goku: you said 5 minutes right
Freezer: it should be any second now

Two other times would be because of Zenos. When he wiped Trunk’s timeline and Earth from Universe 6 in ToP.

You forgot that Future Zeno erased Earth in Future Trunks' timeline along with the rest of the multiverse as Project Zero Mortals left it beyond repair cause they got rid of the remaining DB sets within said timeline!

Why did I watch this video I'm literally one episode away from that frieze thing

The answer is *it depends:*

On anime, regardless of not being canon or bring future timelines: 4
In canon DB, including the blue hair Trunks timeline: 3
Only this timeline and only in canon DB: 2
