Coronavirus: Boris Johnson makes statement on UK's action plan – watch live

Prime Minister Johnson makes a statement setting out the UK Government’s action plan to tackle the spread of coronavirus.
The statement comes the day after the number of confirmed cases of the virus in the UK rose to 39, and Johnson told the BBC there could be a 'very significant expansion' of the number cases in the UK.

I think they're wrong about school closures. The rational they are giving, is that children aren't badly affected. True - but they can be carriers as much as anyone. Little Johnny got infected on holiday in Italy - brought it to school & then 500 kids took it home to their parents and grandparents... but don't worry the kids don't get it bad.
