(#10) How To Wire A Painting (and Install Hardware)

In this video, I’ll show you how I install the hardware and tie the picture hanging wire to prepare my paintings.

Here are the tools you will need:
** Screwdriver (for the type of screws included with your brackets or clips)
** Measuring Tape Or Ruler
** Pencil
** Wire Cutters and Pliers

Here is a list of the hardware I use:
** 1/8” Offset Hanging Clips (I refer to them as brackets in this video)
** The screws for the Hanging Clips
** 1.5mm picture hanging wire (vinyl coated or uncoated—I prefer the vinyl coated wire myself)
** 1.5mm Crimping Loop Sleeves

Very good demo! I also add a bit of hot glue to the ends of the wire to cover raw ends. This prevents fingers getting scratched with the wire.
