DJI Mini 3 Pro drone for wedding photography - Two month review

In this video I give you my two month review of the new DJI Mini 3 Pro drone from the point of view of a wedding photographer.

I have now used this drone at a number of my weddings and portraits shoots and in this video I will tell you about my thoughts on the drone, what I like and don't like, and whether I think it is a good drone for wedding photographers to use.

I also show you lots of 4k video from the DJI Mini 3 Pro drone as well as still photographs and take you behind the scenes on a shoot I did with the drone with a bride.

Agree! I use it for wedding videography, hiking videos, and I'd also recommend getting the RC unit, it makes you want to take it out of your bag.

Saving up for the Mini 3 PRO. We currently use the Mini 2 for weddings and we definitely love it but would love to have the improved camera quality on the Mini 3!

Hi Neil, I'm a relative newcomer to drone photography and have recently purchased the Mini 3 Pro. My daughter is getting married in August of this year and I have been given the thumbs up by the venue to use my drone for capturing footage of the event. Given the time of year, we may well expect the weather conditions to be good, possibly/hopefully sunny. My question is, do you recommend using ND filters and if so, do you have any advice regarding the use of them with this drone?

Neil - great video - thanks. I’ve been waiting for the Mini 3 for the last 12 months to see how useable it is for weddings! Have a feeling it’s a bit more expensive than I had expected… I know it’s under 250g, but do you need any additional registrations, insurance cover to use one at a UK wedding? Thanks.

The CAA are going to start a 'Consultation' on the current drone regs. Might not mean changes but they wouldn't be doing it if they were happy with the status quo.

mine struggles with bad noise in low light. very good during the day though but picture and especially video is awful at sunset with trees full of noise . just use the new mavic 3 classic. the 48mp on mini 3 is fake anyway
