This was a hugely popular song in its day. The most popular version, the version most people remember, being by the Chordettes in 1954. That year, it was U.S. Billboard #1 Best Seller in Stores, #1 Most Played by Disk Jockeys, and #1 Most Played in Juke Boxes. And this East Lake group did a very fine job with an old classic song.

If you girls aren't already members of Sweet Adelines International you need to find a local chapter and join. I was in SAI for 13 years and sang bass. Our chorus won Regional championship twice while I was in it and then we competed in the International Championships. We were considered a small chorus on that level and the larger choruses tend to win International. But they also have quartet championships and you girls could go on to become the Queens of Barbershop if you competed.
