LG Phoenix 2: If battery drains, battery may not charge. Check it's working. Remove battery.

If you have a LG Phoenix 2 that has had it's battery drain completely, the phone will not power at all even when plugged into a computer or wall charger.

To test the android phone works, remove the battery and plug it to a wall charger. You will see an icon of a battery appear.

I didn't realize this was still a problem with modern phones, but it can still happen where the battery drains too much, that the battery can't be recharged by the phone anymore.

Please google "charging usb phone battery" and there are youtube videos where people show how to force charge a camera/phone battery using a usb cable that is cut to expose the positive and negative terminals.

Good luck if you run into this problem with an LG phoenix 2.

I have a LG rebal it was charging and at 3÷ then it went to one.then 0 and booted off it says charging but it stays at zero help

i just put a piece of cardboard on the bottom of the batter so that the battery is connecting to the upper terminals tighter and it worked
