TBH, good for her. She's worked hard and earned it, and donates to charities, food banks, and causes over the years. She pays her staff well and gives out enormous bonuses (50 million this year alone to her tour staff). She pays her taxes, etc. You don't hear about legal, employment, etc issues from her. I do hope one she creates some sort of foundation or charity, but, at least it's going to a deserving and good person that's worked hard for the wealth she has, and done it through smart choices, rather than exploiting people and laborers and the system.

While I wouldn’t call myself a Swifty, I respect her as a businesswoman, and I think she is a great role model for young women to follow your dreams and gain financial independence. One of my favorite lyrics growing up was when she said “ back, then I swore I was going to marry him one day, but I realized some bigger dreams of mine.” It’s just so so true.

She gave money to food banks in the cities where she played. Two countries begged her to have concerts in their cities but she declined. There reasoning was that she brings in so much money. People travel to get to the concert, spend the night in a hotel, eat meals while in the city, and gas up when they leave. Plus everything needed for the people involved in the tour. Place to stay, food, gas, etc. This really brings in extra money for the cities, their businesses, etc. She donated quite a bit to food banks in the cities she had her concerts at. She’s a great humanitarian.
