I'm. In the market to upgrade from my trusty S7 - I still love it but the battery is really bad! I've been really enjoying your videos, especially as I'm interested in the photography slant and you seem pretty knowledgeable! I'm torn between this and the poco f2 Pro - both are the same price right now here in the UK - I was loving the pop up front facing on the poco, but the Nord has OIS, as does my s7, and the poco doesn't...did this affect the quality of the poco? Which would you recommend out of the 2 phones? Thanks!

Hello Joshua, great work as always! I''ve "met" you on the Android Authority days, you made me buy my Sony Xperia Z1 at the time ahaha About the Nord itself. I've made a reservation a couple days ago, waiting for it to arrive, but when you first started the video was a little dissapointed about the front camera quality. A lot of grain while you where inside the car. But there were definitely situations where the camera really suprised me, for instance the video at 5:08 looks astonishing! Overall it looks good, but I would rather have my Hero 8 in the pocket for video. With that said, I wasn't looking for the best camera out there when buying the phone. I was looking for a somewhat reasonable priced phone, with good but not the best processor and a AMOLED high refresh rate screen. I always wanted to have that OnePlus experience ever since the OnePlus 1 came out, guess I'll have it now when it arrives.

This video helped me a lot thanks, I've personally been waiting (which seems like forever) for the release of the pixel 4a which is supposed to launch next week also but the Nord looks awesome and I might go for that instead now. I'm sure I can wait a few days just to see how good pixel turned out to be but I've gotta say I'm real close to pulling the trigger on the Nord! The pixel will have to blow me away in order to sway me now I think, personally I think Google have waited far too long to release this phone as it's been ready to go for months and is already outdated before it's release.

Even after so many years I feel my HTC One M7 camera was still much better than these cameras in phones these days. A 4 ultrapixel camera was still ahead of these 48 and 64 megapixel cameras.
