Έντονες διπλωματικές κινήσεις πραγματοποιούνται τις τελευταίες ώρες, ώστε η εκεχειρία μεταξύ της Χαμάς και των Ισραηλινών Δυνάμεων, που έχει επιτευχθεί με τη διαμεσολάβηση της Αιγύπτου, να μην τεθεί σε κίνδυνο και να συνεχίσει να ισχύει όπως έχει συμφωνηθεί.
Έτσι χθες, ο Ισραηλινός υπουργός εξωτερικών, Gabi Ashkenazi, επισκέφτηκε την Αίγυπτο, για να συναντηθεί με τον ομόλογο του, Sameh Shoukry, κάτι που είχε να συμβεί 13 ολόκληρα χρόνια, δηλαδή υπουργός εξωτερικών του Ισραήλ να επισκεφτεί το Κάιρο.

Intense diplomatic moves have been made in recent hours so that the ceasefire between Hamas and the Israeli forces, mediated by Egypt, is not jeopardized and continues to be valid as agreed.
So yesterday, Israeli Foreign Minister Gabi Ashkenazi visited Egypt to meet with his counterpart, Sameh Shoukry, and that had to happened 13 years, that is, Israeli Foreign Minister to visit Cairo.
It also shows how fragile the ceasefire is and how much Israeli and foreign diplomats want to avoid a new military conflict and consider it important to prevent any indication that it will happen again.
