I grew up with Rory Cooney as the music director at my church. Didn't know how lucky I was. As an adult his words have brought me out of some very dark times.

I still cherish this album that I got many years ago from NALR. A beautiful favorite from Glory & Praise Vol.4! The version in this video is close to the original on this record... and in my opinion....the original was the best. In these times we are living in right now this song brings HOPE. The original album I'm looking at has a flower that grew through the crack of floor tiles. That flower is our sign that anything is possible with God. He is our hope our success and our prize. I will not get political because when you look at what is happening now... This video so relates to current events around the globe and in anyone's search for what truly matters in life. Do not fear. Wherever your treasure is there also your heart will be. God...our hope...our shield...our savior.

I just love this song. This song reminds me every time not to give up even if I stumble and fall for the thousandth time. Life may be difficult for all of us, but all we need to do is hope. A glimmer of hope is stronger than a million of hardships. Thanks a lot Rory Cooney!

I've been a bit down and overwhelmed with all the news, the continued deaths from COVID, and it's nonstop spreading, refugees, wars, violence in our streets, death and destruction from climate change disasters, --- all man-made. The day tis was released was a difficult day for my family. A beloved member underwent brain surgery to remove a tumor which appears to be malignant. I am a member of the OSP Choir community and have sung many of Rory's works. He never fails to inspire. We are blessed that he gave a resounding YES to God in accepting the beautiful gift of composing.
