The word of God is very clear. So many "Christian" artists are more concerned with looking and being cool, so careful not to upset anyone by manipulating God's word, that they lead others down the wrong path. Better to be honest with the truth and hated by the world than to twist words around to appease the world. 2 Timothy 4:3-4.
Brandon, if getting the tats was prior to your commitment to the Lord, I could understand. It's part of your testimony. No, you got them after. Now let's give the best reasons to try to look hip and cool in this day and age. NO!
Christ followers, DO NOT get tattoos. All you need is Christ. You don't need to try to 'fit in' or be admired by others. Walk the path and it will come naturally. or maybe you'll be hated. Either way, you're being true.

Love you Brandon! I just want to say if you (people watching this) want a tattoo that you should pray and ask the Holy Spirit if He wants you to have one. He may be calling you to a place or purpose that tattoos would not be a good idea for. Just because Brandon gets tattoos which is fine for him, it doesn’t mean that we worship Brandon and say well cool Brandon than so can I. Just a thought. This is by no means bashing Brandon. Jesus is still working on him. At some point he’s going to realize that he doesn’t need a tattoo to express his love for God no more than he needs to carry a sign that says it. When those roots of love and worship of our Heavenly Father runs deep, it will shine like the sun itself. He would never have to look down at ink to remind himself of that.

Tattoos are of the world, we are called to be different and set apart from the world. Now if you got your tattoos before committing to the Lord that’s totally fine, before my dad became christian he got tattoos, but he hasn’t gotten another since following the Lord. We’re called to be set apart and having tattoos looks like the world.

I have been listening to your music even before you joined the Bethel family and never questioned your anointing...Now I heard the stories behind the tattoos you have...some of them represent things or people you love and you are thankful for, others represent nothing at all but you got them just because they are "cool", you even honoured people who sponsored you... but I don't understand how all that gives honour or shows love for The One Who gave you this body... I am confused...

Spreading love and worship for our Lord, Jesus Christ (which Brandon does like no other) is more important that if he has tattoos or not.

My mom was a tattoo artist and was doing piercings not only that had people wanting to work for her.
She let it all go, she was practicing drawing since she was 12 and wanted to be a tattoo artist since.

She let it all go after God told her
“Destroy my temple I will destroy you.”
