Is CR getting a cheque from Dodge to tell people to buy this "reliable" car....come on Jake give your head a shake...

This was a horrible car in its first few years. Had it a few times for weekly rentals and dreaded it each time. It's last redesign was back in 2011. The last time CR had enough feedback on reliability for multiple years was back in 2019 and CR had given it a "Worse" rating.

Underrated is a meaningless compliment. Recommending an 8 cylinder sedan made by Stellantis shows Consumer Reports has jumped the shark.

The Charger’s interior is outdated compared to other cars in its class.

Yes lots of reason they’re so popular! Also big reason you’d never wanna buy a used one…

I have a 2019 Dodge Charger absolutely love it. it's quick and has the great looks and can move if you need it to. Quick acceleration quiet operation I've always wanted a charger. Did not disappoint all I wanted it to be

Chrysler builds garbage on the assembly line, they’re the worst US automaker and ford isn’t really better— it doesn’t matter how much they pay Matthew McConaughey to pitch Lincoln—the days of the Lincoln towncar and navigator are over since the 90s. GM is doing better than the other 2 with caddilac, GMC, Buick, etc but I gave up on American automobiles because even their dealers are the lowest rated. I’ve driven across this country top to bottom and coast to coast, the highways are dominated with Toyota (Lexus), Honda (Acura), Subaru & Nissan (Infiniti) because Americans know those cars will last for 20 years and over 300 thousand miles without much trouble. America bailed out the auto makers, and they continued to build the same garbage. And VW, Audi are the better German builds. People are not stupid, at some point we all figure out what is good and what isn’t. And I have no comment about Kia or Hyundai., they are making better cars, but they have a long way to go to catch up with the Japanese reliability record, that’s why they offer 100 K warranty, and the Japanese don’t need to do that, think about it… And I’m not even gonna mention Mitsubishi, who also got lost in the 90s and has been riddled with trouble for decades, all I can say is Mazda is the only other Japanese brand worth looking at

In 2018 you could get a brand new scat pack for $34k that same car is $50k today. Hellcat was $58k now $70k. So why would you promote this ancient overpriced garbage? If this was a paid promotion please state it next time
