I love how Barbie is beginning to do more to have dolls that can represent every little kid, including those in a wheelchair or with the skin condition. These details make me really respect them as a brand, I may be wrong but I don’t see any of the other brands doing that.

Bent plastic accessories can be straightened with a soak in hot water. I'm really loving the Barbie extra! I hope I can get her.

Hiker Barbie is super cute. That level of articulation makes her really fun for older kids who actually play with the dolls while keeping the price point where parents won't flip or kids could save up allowance or birthday money to get for themselves. And she can wear just about any of the clothes.

Bent plastic accessories such as the skates and the trophy can be straightened by putting them in a cup of just boiled water. The heat will soften them and they will go back to their original molded shape. I straighten all my Barbie's heels this way.

Love the Kens! It's great to have some variety in body type and skin tones with the guys too.

I wish they did separates more as well. And finished edges. I don't mind the lack of detail on the shoes because we can always customize with the careful application of paint or markers.
