I have 0 issues with anyone doing a sponsored video as long as they say its a sponsored video at the start. That and just becuase its sponsored does not mean its not going to be an informative or fun video to watch. Heck if EKWB sponsored Jay to make a series of tutorial videos around their products. How would this not still be a great series of videos to watch.

So I'm not one to post messages on videos, and I know this video is a bit old so this message will probably not be seen by Jay, but I have recently been watching a lot of your videos to learn about PC building and cooling and overclocking and I hadn't really thought about subbing until I saw this video. Your honesty and ethical business decisions have turned me to a subscriber. Thanks for what you do and, maybe more importantly, how you do it. Keep up the good work.

I have zero issues with sponsored videos. Maybe that's just me as an independent guy not making money off his hard work, but I enjoy those videos just as much as non-sponsored videos.

I used to watch you every single night for at least a few videos, then I sold my house when COVID started to steamroll and my personal routine became quite different. I stayed in a hotel for about a month until I found a crib in an adjoining state. After a couple of months of getting settled in, one of your videos by chance popped up in my feed. I've been watching daily since.
This is a ballsy video because likely no one else would have done it.
I, for one, am turning my ad blocker off on your channel and I'm going to make it a point of patronizing anything you review that I'm in the market for. Jay, you kick ass big time with a pair of brass ones that attract lightning.

I was actually at computex this year. Part of my job for was to hunt down media at the event and persuade them to come over to our booth. When I found Linus, he had just walked into the ACME booth and was checking out their stuff. He turned to the exhibitors and said "do you mind if I hijack your booth for a moment?" he didn't say anything about a fee or stuff like that. After he finished at ACME I approached him and asked colten (his staff member) if they would come over and check out our booth. They all declined and said it was upto Linus, after we offered an incentive he turned and said "would you like to sponsor one of our videos?" after we said no he said "well, sorry. We don't do paid reviews." I also saw jayz two cents at the ROG booth but we didn't get a chance to chat with him.

I never saw the guy making these claims attend computex before. He probably has no idea how it works. For most of the YouTubers, these exhibitions are a great chance to pump out heaps of videos in a short amount of time and meet new industry reps. Plus, how many trade shows do they attend per year? 2?
