This guy does it wrong. When the phone goes off you need to hold volume up + power button. When you feel the vibration let go of power button but continue to hold volume up until you get the screen. Otherwise the phone just reboots normally.

if i hold down the power button and the vol up i get the recovery program but i don't have the option wipe data... I only can choose between reboot and shut down. how can i hard reset on another way??

My P10 lite just needs pin to reset, and I never set it to any pin request mode while I switch on please help
