Maatsuyker Island - Seal plays with deadly 'toy' - Does he survive?

We already love visiting the seals at the 'Gulch', their haul out on Maatsuyker. On this day we noticed 2 pups playing with a thick piece of fishing line. We watched them closely every time they started to play with the line and could see them wrap themselves more and more each time... we were helpless!
