The Tabernacle - Framework and Inner - (Exodus 26:15-37)

What did the Tabernacle look like? What did the components and elements that make up the tabernacle look like? What did the boards and sockets, the Framework and pillars look like? Did the inner curtains hang in front of the wooden pillars or behind? Should the poles of the Altar of incense and the Table of Shew bread be removed once they were placed inside? Where did they get all the wood for the boards in a desert?

Here is a 3D visualisation of the Tabernacle, it's framework and inner sections. One of multiple videos showing the various parts and components that comprise the Tabernacle in the Wilderness. My hope is that you will find this video informative and useful in bringing to life the details of the Tabernacle written in the book of Exodus. All the videos here are free to download in HD definition or, with a subscription 4K definition from the Bible Scenes website. My goal is to be able to spend all my working hours re-creating scenes from the Bible that can be used by anyone, free of charge, in any way (with a few conditions). If you feel led to support this Bible Scenes project do consider supporting me with a monthly subscription, you can find the details on the Bible Scenes web site. As always a super big thank you to those of you who are supporting me, if not financially then emotionally and spiritually.

All the scenes of the Tabernacle were created with a combination of Blender and Unreal Engine. Mostly modelled and textured in Blender and then imported into Unreal Engine for rendering.

All the voice overs were done by my good friend, colleague and brother in law Howard Conder.

08 The Tabernacle. Exodus 26:15-37

15 “And for the tabernacle you shall make the boards of acacia wood, standing upright. 16 Ten cubits shall be the length of a board, and a cubit and a half shall be the width of each board. 17 Two tenons shall be in each board for binding one to another. Thus you shall make for all the boards of the tabernacle. 18 And you shall make the boards for the tabernacle, twenty boards for the south side. 19 You shall make forty sockets of silver under the twenty boards: two sockets under each of the boards for its two tenons. 20 And for the second side of the tabernacle, the north side, there shall be twenty boards 21 and their forty sockets of silver: two sockets under each of the boards. 22 For the far side of the tabernacle, westward, you shall make six boards. 23 And you shall also make two boards for the two back corners of the tabernacle. 24 They shall be [c]coupled together at the bottom and they shall be coupled together at the top by one ring. Thus it shall be for both of them. They shall be for the two corners. 25 So there shall be eight boards with their sockets of silver—sixteen sockets—two sockets under each of the boards.26 “And you shall make bars of acacia wood: five for the boards on one side of the tabernacle, 27 five bars for the boards on the other side of the tabernacle, and five bars for the boards of the side of the tabernacle, for the far side westward. 28 The middle bar shall pass through the midst of the boards from end to end. 29 You shall overlay the boards with gold, make their rings of gold as holders for the bars, and overlay the bars with gold. 30 And you shall raise up the tabernacle according to its pattern which you were shown on the mountain.31 “You shall make a veil woven of blue, purple, and scarlet thread, and fine woven linen. It shall be woven with an artistic design of cherubim. 32 You shall hang it upon the four pillars of acacia wood overlaid with gold. Their hooks shall be gold, upon four sockets of silver. 33 And you shall hang the veil from the clasps. Then you shall bring the ark of the Testimony in there, behind the veil. The veil shall be a divider for you between the holy place and the Most Holy. 34 You shall put the mercy seat upon the ark of the Testimony in the Most Holy. 35 You shall set the table outside the veil, and the lampstand across from the table on the side of the tabernacle toward the south; and you shall put the table on the north side.36 “You shall make a screen for the door of the tabernacle, woven of blue, purple, and scarlet thread, and fine woven linen, made by a weaver. 37 And you shall make for the screen five pillars of acacia wood, and overlay them with gold; their hooks shall be gold, and you shall cast five sockets of bronze for them.

Y'know, when you read the Bible, but you have no visual pictures to know what the Tabernacle looked like, it is, indeed, a mystery. However, with videos like this, to show us what this Tabernacle looked like, it brings a type of warmth, sense, and meaning to it. God wanted that Tabernacle to be pure, clean, and exact...just like he wants our Tabernacles (Our bodies), to be.
I myself have failed, miserably, to take care of my Spiritual Tabernacle. With God's help-That ends right now! I choose to be a Tabernacle of Holiness and Righteousness for Almighty God, from this very moment on! I thank Almighty God, for leading me this way!

THANK YOU! By far the best illustration of this, I especially like the fact you read the description and it appeared. We have no imagination in our society today so this really helps, especially for children as the descriptive verses of these things can be a bit too technical to imagine so this really helps a lot.

These videos are extremely creative and very helpful. I was making my way through Exodus and then I thought well maybe someone has made a video in the same order as the verses. But I never dreamed they would be like this! Thank you very much. It has greatly enhanced my reading and understanding of these scriptures. I intend to take advantage of many more of your videos

When teaching a class, visual demonstrations help more than words can say alone. Thank you so much for your work! This will put a picture in their minds that there is no way that I could have done alone!
