Since it's stainless steel with no paint I'm so excited to see the millions of wraps people are gonna customize their cybertruck with.

I agree with many others. Tesla is not hiding anything, they are showing of a new feature hidden in plain sight. Very funny. And it's completely badass. Now imagine 6 of these in different wraps with Tesla designed accessories in a semicircle, with the stainless steel version in the middle. It's going to look so cyberpunk. The internet will explode.

They don’t need to hide anything, the exterior design has been the same for the most part. They are testing wraps, hopefully to offer them from the factory or just to show off what could be done

Regarding the vault cover, Tesla have a big advantage;
Tesla use the normal roll up type
Rivian used a disconnect (every single piece) and stack

I like change, but not just for the sake of change. I don't like the yoke because I feel it's not safe. It may look great or even great on paper, but overall, it's a bad idea. I also want stalks as I don't want to dick around with "coolness" when I'm driving. I feel the same way about gauges. The giant screen is cool, but I'd rather have gauges in front of me. Yeah, you get used to it, but it's still not safe nor my preference.

The steering wheel in the model 3, with the stalks, is damn near perfect.

Tailosive EV, the irony is that literally every media platform have been complaining about how boring the streets would be with dozen plain Cybertrucks on the streets. But reality might suggest that it will have the greatest variation of finishes because it will be easier to wrap with possibly hundreds of selections of wrapping selections…

The round steering wheel is essential for difficult situations like off road driving. The yoke idea does not work as ist is right now. It needs dynamic steering or it is worse then a regular round steering wheel.

CT needs a normal steering wheel for offroad. Anything else is suuuper dangerous.

id prefer a "yolk" option. i usually rest my wrist on the wheel when driving, id rather have a wheel

The CT doesn’t need to hide. It isn’t replacing an existing models it will cut into the sales for.

I would choose a round steering wheel for trailering, especially backing up. Semi has a round steering wheel.
