Fantastic info here! Love the focus on the new guys, they are the future of the sport! Don’t forget, on smaller tracks we sometimes run up to 2” of stagger. Thanks for the shout out and keep up the great work!!!

You hit the nail on the head on a couple topics.

The Triton is still a very competitive chassis.

And the biggest issue with the Predator Racing is no one wants to establish one set of rules. That’s why we’re finally seeing more tracks jump on board with the Ducar DynoCams rules

Brother I love ya. Man thank you for putting this great info out there for those that don’t know. Hell even those whom used to know but have forgotten. You are amazing to watch my friend.

You should go over what you would do if your kart is Loose, Tight, Skipping/hopping exiting the corners etc ..

Great video. When i started kart racing 5 yrs ago, i wish i would have seen some videos like this one.. i started on a 03 Nemesis and ran her for 2 yrs then upgraded to a 2012 Triton and i love both of them. But im still on the struggle bus with tires and engine game. But a video like this would have been a HUGE help when i started. But videos on tire stagger or maybe engines/engine internals would be helpful..Give'em Hell next raceday 🤘

One of the new money savers is the Georgia Maxxis t18 class I personally love the class and it's made things a lot cheaper and simpler especially for a beginner

I am not new to karting but I enjoy your videos. A video I would like to see is one on how to free up a kart. Not just less aggressive tires, that isn't what I have been struggling with. My lateral grip is to high and the kart is sluggish off the corner. I am trying to find that couple tenths that elude me.

Good stuff. Look, when we were racing, the clones were just coming out. The Animal had been out a couple years. We ran a black plate animal on my son's champ and a gold plate flathead on his flat kart. We ran Ben Tyler engines. Now, a built clone costs the same as we were paying back then for flatheads and animals.

Thanks. Bigger guy, mid 30s, been to many kart races and always wanted to do it, but get discouraged for one reason or another. Everyone at the track has massive trailer, would love a video on what you would take to the track if you were racing out back of a pickup for a basic local Saturday night race.

I have been out of the sport for about 13 years. I just got a recon and getting back into it.

Great video. We race a full season on slicks without knowing about stagger 😆. Really changes your scale numbers as well. Weve only been racing for a few years but i started cleaning our bearings and chain with WD40 and then lube the bearings with triflo and leave the chain alone. Realized quickly that carb or brakecleen was getting expensive compared to a gallon of WD40. Also bought an ultrasonic cleaner this year to try. Saw you had the basket. If you have one what liquid do you use in it?

Do a start to finish kart setup. Recently did mine I would have been totally lost without the help of a guy that’s ran go karts for 20 years. He named stuff I would’ve never thought of.

I’m just now getting back into the sport after 35 years or so. A couple of years ago we did do a little practice track in the backyard, but no competition.
Here’s where I’m stuck and trying to wrap my head around it. Years ago when I was racing as a teenager, my home track was long straightaways and high banked turns. We were setting the karts in and drifting through the turns like dirt track late model cars. But now, every track I see is pretty much flat. I’ve been learning a lot about kart setup. But what advice, tips and tricks can you give for someone coming from the way we used to do it, to racing as it is now?

I was a champion in lights and mediums but, quit racing now I am older 55 and want to race again so bad. I was in an auto accident and had a back fusion and would like to hop in a kart again before I invest in a new one. I am not sure if my back can take it or not.

Do you run the open seal bearings where the seal doesn't go all the way to the outer race aka can you see the bearings and spray lube in there ? I THINK I may have some new left over. I'll send them to you if you want. Already gave GDog some stuff.
