✨ RECIPE ✨
1. Wash and dice strawberries.
2. Add 1/2 cup chopped strawberries and 2 tbsp sugar and puree/blend it.
3. In a bowl, mix strawberry puree and 1.5 tbsp tapioca starch.
4. Heat until gooey and not liquid. I usually microwave for 1 min, but if there’s still liquid I microwave in 15 sec intervals until liquid is gone. Let cool for 1-2 min.
5. Add 1/2 cup tapioca starch and mix. I use a spoon while the dough is still hot, but once it’s cool enough, I use my hands.
6. Gradually knead in another 1/2-1 cup of tapioca starch until the dough is smooth and not too sticky to the touch.
7. Pinch off some dough, roll into a ball, and CAREFULLY use a knife to indent the top to make a heart shape. Continue until there’s no more dough.
8. Boil them for 15-20 minutes, strain out the water and rinse in warm water.
9. Soak in sweetener (strawberry syrup, normal sugar, honey, etc)
10. Add to your drink of choice and enjoy! I just had mine with strawberry milk and it was perfect 😋🍓
