I have the 3a, and had a OP 6 for 2 years prior. The difference is that the premium glass phones feel like fine jewelry in hand, and the Pixel feels plasticky. The upside is, I don't feel I have to use a case on the Pixel.

People should really check out the Galaxy Note 9 in 2020. Aliexpress and so on sell the USA version for EU too with unlocked carrier, where you can get the advantage of using snapdragon and a still modern working device. Yes it doesn´t get any updates anymore, but seriously it costs 299€ and you're most likely going to root and custom rom flash it after 2 or 3 years.

When you say the camera is better on the s9 do you mean it takes better pictures because in my mind the 4a destroys the s9 camera

after 2 years, my s9 has horrible battery life and is very buggy. do you think a move to a pixel 4a would be a good idea? i love the size. i don't do any gaming, but worry about the weaker chip

also galaxy s8 and the models after that have fully laminated screens with specific liquids which many people cant get their hands on. They will definitely have better looking panels than others. Except a few companies.

For all you camera complainers... he also forgot to mention the S9 has a dual aperature for night shots and high lighting applications... if samsung gave the S9 more software support the 4a would be on shakey ground...

Got a brand new s10e for 400 bucks unlocked and work with both GSM CDMA networks in my opinion the best deal!!!

S9 definitely better, stereo speaker, ip rating, wireless charging, premium build, no notch/hole, higher resolution etc the only con is mo update anymore

fyip. for folks trying to upgrade to pixel 4a from s9, best thing to do is trade in your phone at best buy and you are getting 130$ for it. then buy a pixel for as less as 220$ except for samsung pay and ip rating, pixel 4a does look to be a great phone!
