We are back in New York City! This week we are bringing Chef Quie and Chef Charles to bb.q chicken- a popular South Korean fried chicken spot. Last time we gave them some steaming take out fried chicken so of course we had to redeem ourselves this week- by eating the ENTIRE Korean fried chicken menu. Let's see which ones they like the most.

Glad you guys decided to do this. Watching the video before, it was indeed painful to see them eat it in a sub-optimal environment, and I'm not even Korean!

You know it’s good when OG stopped talking and was just smashing all the chicken 😂

Its great when two different culture chefs learn from each other, makes them great world of sharing cooking tips that they might use in the end.

I LOVE that they gave Korean Fried Chicken the chance it deserves!! And love that these chefs show how much they honestly enjoyed it and not just tried to belittle it since it's not what they are familiar with ❤

24:12 I love how he describes he can taste where it is from. There is a certain art of cooking with spice that compliments their flavors in different ways.

Very high praise coming from them! Charles' restaurant is easily in the top 3 of all fried chicken in NYC. So nice to see this beautiful bridging of cultural differences and similarities.

Thank you for this new and improved video. Koreans take a lot of pride in their food just like these two chefs. Food is love.

I really enjoy these episodes! I don't know it's fascinating to see people who have a passion for their food explain it to others who have never had their food. It makes me smile because it's like bridging together two things that are similar and different. And I get to learn a lot.

6:30 That's a fascinating observation Southern Fried Chicken is about the sides to add on to the experience. Korean Fried Chicken is about the sauces. Huh, that never registered for me.

I like the soy garlic one best, but I also like the original of course. There’s one outlet in Hawaii so I was lucky to try these chicken!! In Hawaii we have so many cultures that a restaurant local style kind will have fried chicken, Korean kalbi, Japanese foods, Portuguese foods, Hawaiian foods and you can pick 2 or 3 choices for one “plate lunch” I hope you take these chefs to different Korean restaurants that serve other foods!! And other way around!! Would be so much fun!!

Not sure if you guys mentioned this in the video but I think it's important to know black American soldiers taught Koreans how to cook fried chicken during the korean war. American style frying. It's important to know the history.
