Who Will Kamala Harris Choose To Be Her Vice President? (with Katie Couric)

This week on Hysteria, Alyssa is joined by Katie Couric to discuss who would make the best VP for Kamala Harris, tactics the Republicans will use to attack her, and if she and Trump will end up debating on Fox News.

Crooked Media believes that we need a better conversation about politics, culture, and the world around us—one that doesn’t just focus on what’s broken, but what we can do to fix it. We are a media network that showcases stories, voices, and opportunities for activism that inform, entertain, and inspire action, because it’s up to all of us to do our part to build a better world.

That’s it. End of mission.

I think that it was brilliant that he didn't withdraw until trump nominated Vance as VP pick. 🤣🤣🤣

Business interests have consumed our politics for decades. The government needs to put worker interests at the forefront.

I approve of a small, attractive, intelligent and multi-ethnic woman as the next president of the US - I'm married to one

I precinct walked for Harris back in San Francisco, I have fully supported her through her political career. My admiration for Biden does not take away from my admiration for Kamala Harris.

Trump didn’t choose Vance, Heritage Foundation did. We normal people do get it, the expansion of VP Powers in Project 2025 is evidence of a bigger plan.

I really think Biden did this masterfully. He knows us, Couric knows the Hamptons.

Business dudes don't like women with power, partly because they know many women will consider things other than maximizing profit.

Vance's "cat lady" logic shows a lot about his character. The idea that you can only care about the future if you have chidren in it is offensive to all decent people. It says a lot about HIS worldview, though.

Walz is my fav. He is so real & counters JD Vance’s & Trump’s lies from a real authentic & believable place.

I was conflicted too about Biden dropping out. But now that a few days have passed and I have had time to digest it I'm glad he dropped out and passed the torch to Kamala.

The NYT has done 196 negative articles on Biden's "mental decline" vs 6-10 negative articles on Trump's "mental decline". Media bias has been a significant factor in perceptions of Biden. David Cay Johnson has been talking about this in podcasts.

VP selections need to roam past the guest's friendliness with potential candidates.

On Harris having a lot of turnover, all Democrats have to do is respond with not only how much turnover Trump had but point out the number of former staffers who outright can't stand him because the list is long. There are quite a few former military service members who served under Trump and have nothing good to say about him. Remind people constantly.

We as a party needed this so bad after such anxiety filled weeks. It was like a collective sigh of relief, of a vision forward. And that is such a beautiful thing to witness!

Funny, the reasons Katie's husband and friends don't like Kamala is exactly why I like her!

I've been saying for months "I'm voting Biden/Harris, by which I mean I'm voting for Harris."
I adore Kamala! Let's make sure the Prosecutor beats the Perpetrator!

Stress aside, I think the fact that President Biden’s announcement came after the GOP convention and Trump’s Handmaid’s Tale curious VP pick was a master stroke. Trump is locked in with Vance (Bowman) and all that pent up anxiety resulted in an unprecedented outpouring of support for VP Harris - which might not have happened quite the same way otherwise. I don’t know, I for one would not underestimate President Biden. And I do hope he’ll feel more spring in his step now - and especially after our November win ;-) - to sort of go out with a bang (not a literal one - and it’s horrific that that needed a qualifier). I would keep an eye on Russia as well - Putin is in danger domestically due to what his genocidal war is doing to the Russian people/economy. Like Trump, he is desperate to see DJT back in the WH. Plus as we know, the Heritage Foundation, the Federalist Society (and others) have officially aligned themselves with Orbàn’s Danube Insitute about 2 years ago - and the ideological, Catholic fundamentalist core of Project 2025 is a product of this alliance. Since Orbàn is Putin’s middle man P2025 can be viewed as a foreign-inspired and maybe even funded ideological takeover of the United States. Bottom line: ex KGB misinformation czar Putin will not stop - unless he is stopped. So he needs to be defeated in Ukraine (aka get his a$$ handed to him) as soon as possible. I’m hoping this unburdened period in President Biden’s term in the office will help us get closer to that goal.

I was very proud of Joe Biden when he passed the baton to crime fighter Kamala Harris. It was a master move of timing and surprise. Like a wise and cunning general in the Art of War! Obi Wan passed the power to Princess Lea in this instance! Now, on to destroy the death star!💪🗽⚖️💥💨✌️💃🏻💙

Problem with Shapiro is he's very clearly anti Gaza. That's not going to attract the youth vote.
