I flew Icelandair in saga class RT between JFK and KEF. Great airline!

Icelandair has some top class service indeed! The takeoff out of Bergen was beautiful, but I'll certainly miss Icelandair's iconic yellow engines. Nice trip report :)

Last July I went to Reykjavik for my birthday I flew from London on Saga Class and I have to say it was a fantastic experience, fantastic FA, service on board, I had enough champagne and Icelandic gin.

Icelandair had service to Kansas City pre-pandemic, and I hope they'll reintroduce it soon.

well, I think BC is much better then on KLM, AF, LH etc for such a short flight: separate cabin and nice (drink) service!

Definitely NOT an AVGEEK, but someone who did not complete his childhood with success. Fed up looking his postures. Will make sure all press-contacts of airlines share my opinion. Hope no one will use paypal anymore.

That looks wonderful. Flew it maybe 50 years ago, JFK to KEF. It was an old (even at that time) DC-8 stretch. Took the entire runway to take off. Food was good and even in economy, everyone was served cognac after the hot meal. Would love to fly Saga class now since I can now afford it. That gin menu was amazing. I'm a g&t fan also. My brother would have done the same as you, tried each one. Thanks for sharing.

Great video, enjoyable as always. I flew Icelandair last year Keflavik to Glasgow in Saga Class. Great food and friendly flight attendants. The Saga Lounge is very nice and well worth a visit.
