My toes are doing the "V" (characteristic of plantar plate tear) but not between 2nd & 3rd, which is where I always see it illustrated, but mine developed a strong "V" between the 3rd and 4th toes. I also have had significantly "curly" or "rotated" toes since birth, but the V developed within the last year. Would I apply tape around the 4th toe? or the 3rd?
