Good catch on the Isaac Hayes - the initial sample was from "Ike's Rap II." Tricky also used it for "Hell Is Round The Corner", if I remember correctly.

Portishead are the rarest gem. Always sent chills down my spine, no fillers. Seeing them live was a tremendous experience. Beth's solo work is amazing too.

Portishead was so fleeting, brilliant and so premature. What music should have evolved to today. Sadly missed for what it was, brave, inventive with amazing array of brittle talent.
