$40 EpiPen? That's 10% of America!

First story: I had heard of this story months ago, but was not expecting to hear what happened after the event. I would totally sue the company and ex-boss personally for failing to protect employees. SOOOO many email evidence to prove company and ex-boss knew of medical condition, so had zero excuse for what happened.

You'd be surprised how many people in an office have a criminal record.

Epi pens in the US cost between $345 to $690.

As an Aussie, the first OP story should have brought their case to Fair Work Ombudsman who will be very interested over why a known alcoholic allergic person is given sanitiser with alcohol and couldn't have any alternatives nor any discussion over their matter. I bet the company didn't want to face a governmental audit into them, showing perhaps MORE neglect within. Hence, the hush hush and he's gone already statement.

I seriously thought that guy said he was drinking soap in the office.

Reminds me of when 2 boys were fired before the client and carer finished shopping. They mimicked the way he walked and talked while tidying the shelves laughing and joking behind his back. The carer was not impressed and complained. Boys were suspended on no pay pending investigation (fired for gross misconduct next day) and the manager escorted them out before comping the shopping for client. I worked in the bakery at the time and a memo came around reminding employees of the conduct expected of them especially while the store is open.

1st story: I’m American and living in Australia for nearly 20 years now. (Married a Australian gal) An Australian that’s allergic to alcohol, and couldn’t drink beer, wine, or spirits Would be as bad as a Christian, Catholic, Muslim, or different religious person not being able to pray to their god!!! Drinking alcohol is like the number one sport, or pastime here!!!! I can’t see how OP could go anyplace if even someone wearing heavy perfume can make a reaction. Most malls, pharmacies, and non food shops smell like perfume.

The one where your boss said that about a kid, he literally can’t retaliate against you for settin him straight about what he did and callin him out on it and if he does you can sue him into oblivion and sue the company. He wants to act like that, tell him the way it is. He can’t do anything against you and if he does it makes his problem worse.

If it's an order they may imply anyone to deliver work upon or Converse on his behalf with the injured party if that is what is happening you have a case against him again and her for coming out there I would sue I mean he's got to have a little bit of money might as well get it all I hear an Australia you can walk around and look for gems and gold just laying around so it's not like he doesn't have something to do to get the money he's going to have to pay you

A $40 EpiPen is a great deal they're $100 in the United States with insurance and they expire every year. I empathize for those who need them.

$40AD ($27USD) for an My last 2 pack cost $549USD! My insurance won't cover it unless it is dispensed by medical personnel. (Like after it's too late.) Australian National Health Service prescription coverage?

Check for 50, 000 and I won't sue
How dare HR and the legal team show up at the hospital to pester the patient about not suing 😠

Man, story 2 was so wrong. Yeah rob was messed up, but they ripped a family apart. What about that families kid. You just messed up his/her whole life because he said something mean.
Ops people are way more screwed up than rob.
I sure hope karma get them.
