I was not aware that Sheryl had not been married but was engaged 3 times. I agree with her idea of "being engaged three times is better than being divorced three times." She seems to have embraced all that life had to offer... companionship, children and a career..and still kept her freedom! Love her music! Ironically, my favorite song is "If It Makes You Happy."

Kudos to Sheryl Crow for staying single.

Not being married is highly underrated. Everyone seems to think that marriage is just the only way - and that there must be something wrong with those that don't fall in line. Nonsense.

I can't speak for others, but only myself. I tried being married a long time ago - because I thought that was what I was supposed to do.
It was a disaster, in multiple ways. Now, all these years later, I realize that marriage was the stupidest thing I've ever done. I am 1000 percent happier now.

They announced their engagement (to Lance Armstrong) in 2005, and ended their relationship in 2003. Fascinating.

She's 61!!? Maybe not getting married is the key to anti-aging.

I have always felt bad for her. A sweet, beautiful lady like her deserves to be in love with a man who's good for her. But as long as she's happy, that's what matters most.

How do you get engaged after you break up? He said they got engaged in 2005 and ended their relationship in 2003.

I always thought her career was based on how much she could use other people to get ahead and then diss them as soon as possible. All the evidence is there. Dead bodies in her wake. She calls Kevin Gilbert an asshole in retrospect. The creative challenges to which you refer are about her taking credit for the work of others on TNMC after MCA called him in to try and save an album she says she rejected when in fact the label rejected it. There is some serious revisionism going on with that woman. Miss Broadway....needs someone to rain on her charade.

"Sheryl and Lance Armstrong had challenges in their relationship." Namely, Lance's wife who he left for Sheryl after getting through cancer therapy.

Maybe she should stop dating really wealthy people all the time. That might make all the difference!
