im not sure whether to take maths - ik its super helpful for loads of things but i just dont know if id enjoy it or do well in it. ive always found maths easy and ill almost definitely get a 9 at gcse (this year) but im not sure if the a level type maths will be for me or not. my 2 definites are biology and psychology, but my preferred third would be french, which i think id enjoy and find easy enough. french is a good one too, its a facilitating subject, but like youve said maths can be good for so many things so im really unsure. one thing i will say is that i dont want to go into a mathsy career, so it might not be as helpful for me as for others, but ik its useful for loads of things even if they dont seem mathsy. ik a lot of people regret taking maths and that scares me too. im starting year 12 on 4 subjects so ill get the chabce to try it out, but also that wont give me a full understandning of how the whole course will be so its hard to make my decisions! also, i have considered the chance of taking 4 a levels but i think id rather do 3 and an epq so thats tricky too

Hi! Thank you for the greatly beneficial and informative video. I’m currently in Year 10 but considering my A-Levels, I’m thinking of pursing a career in either medicine or environmental engineering. I’m taking Arabic second language, geography and ICT yet have a great passion for history and comparative religion. I chose ICT as I thought it could be applied into any field since majority of careers require knowledge on using electronics effectively (as if knowledge). Moreover, I plan on taking maths and sciences as well as geography for those 2 career choices I previously said, do you think those are good options? Have a great day, and never stop learning.

This video is very helpful. I’m looking into studying marketing or journalism and right now my only “for sure” is Spanish.

I have to choose between art and economics and literature or sociology.

I’m not sure which two subjects out of those four which would suit me better.

Hi!!! Thank you for the video. I would also like some advice

My options so far are Maths, Computer science, physics and either economics or business. I'm interested in a lot of career paths, but most of them fall under the computer science umbrella. (programming, cyber security, game development, data sciences, software engineering etc ) So I am looking for something that would add to my computer skills.

As far as physics is concerned I have not studied physics before, so it will take some convincing and will probably be alot more hard work but it also sounds like an important facilitating subject, and it sounds risky to leave it out. It also opens the option for engineering which if i can, i would love to do.

I've also come across career paths that make use of computer science and econ/business, and either sounds pretty decent.

Should I go for economics or business ? Should i take on physics despite no prior knowledge and only personal interest ? Will adding econ/bus to the other three be benficial?

If I want to study Psychology in university. And I’ve choose Psychology, English Literature, History and Business, and I’m also going to do Russian because it’s my second language, will these be enough for me? Or should I replace something with Maths? Thank you in advance for your answer :)

Hi, I'm struggling on picking A levels as my school doesn't offer a wide variety, but so far I'm keen on taking forward with sociology, psychology and business. Do you think these 3 subjects are a good combination and recognised by universities? Would really appreciate if you reply

Hi I'm currently doing A levels and I have taken physics maths but I'm not sure about the third one
I'm confused between
I am currently not sure about which career path I will take in uni it could be either IT related or Business related or Engineering related or I kinda wanna study about international relations as well lol so you can see that I'm confused
So which subjects should I choose so all of these paths remain open for me :)

My daughter is considering switching from IB MYP to A level next year. She always do well in Design, Art and English in MYP. She want to pursue Degree in Industrial Design or Bachelor of Arts in Design. We are looking at subjects such as Math, English or Computer Science, Art & Design, Global Perspectives and Research. Please advise which 4 subjects are suitable

Hello! I found your video to be very useful. However, I am wondering, are history, business, English language and maths a good combination? I’m not quite sure what I want to do in university, so those are my choices for now. However, I am considering dropping history completely or swapping it out for biology as that is the other subject competing with it besides computer science. Let me know! Thanks.
