I had full intent to have these threw have interactions as I love this trio. I was reading when I realized that ye Michikatsu would think Tanjiro was related to Yoriichi.

Why not use his see through world?

Well Tanjiro looks so much like Yoriichi that he didn't even bother.

I think Tanjiro will end up looking like one of these two things after he ages enough, he will either dress like rengoku or one of his other role models throughout the show, or he will keep the same clothes and end up with similar hair to Yoriichi, but have a similar facial structure and build as his father, just with more muscle, and he will keep his mother's kindness, likely showing the same amount of emotion as he does now, not like Yoriichi.

Headcanon:

Tanjiro is the decendent of Yorichi while Muichiro is the decendent of Michikatsu so they are related but are like 4th/5th cousins
