I love watching these videos and seeing how the tune changes when a wrestler dies

Short matches? I remember Dusty being in more than a few matches that were 45 minutes or longer. Dusty was always one of my favorites growing up. I personally like the Midnight Rider angle he did when he got "Banned".

Dusty was pretty much in pre-retirement mode for his WWF run.

In his younger days dusty would go 20 to 30 minutes and make himself and opponent look good, nothing but respect to dusty and HTM

The day HTM says anything positive about anyone other than himself the apocalypse will be nigh.

I had the pleasure of talking to Ricky Morton (one half of the Rock n Roll Express) about a year and half ago at a show in western North Carolina. He made similar statements about Dusty. Not so much as wrestler but as a promoter regarding his hype and big talk. Ricky further talked about how when Dusty was promoter in the old Crockett territory he would consistently put himself in six man tag team matches with the Rock n Roll Express due to the fact they were so hot at the time in order to keep his own status elevated. Ronnie Garvin also echoes similar statements.

When was Dusty ever in shape? LOL! He was loved for his showmanship and cool demeanor. Dusty helped make wrestling a viable business through the decades. HTM, not so much.

They didn’t put you over cause you weren’t in the same league as Dusty. Dusty is a legend. Honky Donk Man is just mad.

Is there a clip anywhere of HTM saying anything good about anyone? Lol

This was Dusty Rhodes’ first PPV, Summerslam ‘89, there’s no way he gave his notice as he was still with the WWF at Royal Rumble 1991, when he did the job for DiBiase and Virgil.

It was literally Dusty's second televised match after coming in haha. He left a year and a half later. Timeline is so off

What makes HTM think that Koko was telling the truth?

I agree on his assessment on DR but he didn't leave until 91. That event was a year and a half before he left. He probably meant Survivor Series 1990.
