If anyone is having trouble with the Navbar, it's because the *bootstrap version has changed* since this video was put out.
Just change "4.1.3" or whatever version is current on BootStrapCDN with the version he is using in this video -- 3.3.7.

This Flask From Scratch series is amazing!!! TY so much for sharing your knowledge. You have a knack for teaching. Coming from a MEAN/MERN background Flask feels like home. I was originally learning Django for Python but it felt kind of clunky and, "on rails" (no reference to ruby on rails). Flask reminds me of Express and I think that's why I like it so much

I recommend also going through the bootstrap and Flask getting started guide. He glosses over the reasons why he does certain things: I think these are more important than just following his steps, because if you understand why, you can recreate it more easily. For example, why put the CSS <link> tags at the top in the head before other stylesheets, and the javascript <link> tags all the way at the bottom, before </body>.
