She’s big, she’s strong, and she’s not going down without a fight: this powerful seal mama is battling for her life. Unaware that we’re here to help, she sees us as threats rather than allies. Female seals not only defend themselves but also safeguard their dependent pups. If she doesn’t survive, her pup’s fate is at risk too. With her strength and spirit, we’re confident she has many years ahead—unless a few grams of plastic stand in her way again.
