Great video! I know the AKG'S and the Oktavas - but never worked with Haun or Line Audio. But these two sound realy interesting.

To my ears, The Hauns & AKG Blueline sound the most balanced and natural. The Oktavas & 451’s sound a bit brittle and glassy. Line Audio gets the job done but sounds a bit closed in and lacking dimension.

The CM3 have something natural, probably due to the wide cardioid polar pattern. AKG C391B and Oktava a little bit 'vintage boxy' (I like it!), AKG C451B very good and Haun not so good to my ears with my listening setup!

Awesome selection of mics, great examples and nice sound, thanks a lot. For me the LineAudio CM3 was great, next the AKG 300B+CK91 for more presence, maybe the Oktava third for it's punch but I'm not sure because there's less detail and smoothness to it. The others were too bright for me but I'm sure that's useful if one's going to add highs anyway post recording. It does sound appealing with these shorter exmaples but might be tiring in the long run. If you still have the original project or wav files and it's not too much trouble, would you be able to make it available? Your great sound and playing make this a very informative comparison.
