LM7 ICT Billet (Alternator/Power Steering Pump) relocation kit (240sx edition)

One of the 1st things that I hated when I 1st got my LM7 5.3L engine was the ugly top mount alternator location and the big chunky power steering pump at the bottom with the massive cast aluminum bracket. to solve that issue... I got myself a set of the ICT Billet alternator relocation kit & power steering pump relocation kit. Which allowed me to utilize my stock alternator + a brand new 2002 camaro power steering pump.

Due to my engine being a iron block I did have to tap a hole, & thread it to be able to utilize the alternator relocation kit! But it was very easy & fun to do.
For anyone who has a aluminium block engine your engine will already come with the hole in the correct location so you will not be needing to tap in your block(engine).

The power steering relocation kit was a plug in play system which made it very easy to install!

Just want to add, metal expands with heat and contracts with cold. Freezer wouldn't have made it expand but just the opposite. Otherwise cool video👌

What's the part number for that kit? I was looking at a similar one but its for the truck power steering pump.

sheesh. My first time seeing someone successfully beat one of those pulleys on. It's supposed to be a press fit with no bolt. You probably could have rented the install tool from the parts store that threads into the pump shaft then a collar that presses the pulley on as you turn it. It would have made better sense to warm the pulley if anything since that's when metal expands. Keep on keeping on and good luck.
